Questions patients ask

Online consultations, clearly explained.

Fees, reports, prescriptions, follow-ups and when to go to a hospital instead.

Can I consult a general physician online without visiting a clinic?

Yes. Every Rooh Medi Care consultation happens online, so you can speak to a qualified general physician from home, anywhere in India.

How much does an online doctor consultation cost?

An online consultation with our general physician, Dr Kartikay Mishra, is ₹500. Follow-up consultations are available once a week. Psychiatry (₹1,000) and clinical psychology (₹2,500) sessions are booked through Rooh Mind Care.

What health concerns can a general physician assess online?

Common concerns such as fever, cough and cold, acidity and digestive problems, headaches, fatigue, body aches and sleep difficulties, as well as follow-ups for diabetes, high blood pressure and thyroid conditions. If your concern needs a physical examination or tests, the doctor will tell you.

Can a doctor review my blood test reports online?

Yes. Share the reports you already have and the doctor will go through them with you, explain what they mean and suggest next steps.

Can I get a prescription through an online consultation?

When it is appropriate, the doctor can prescribe as allowed under India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. Some medicines cannot be prescribed online, and some conditions need an in-person assessment first.

Can I have a follow-up with the same doctor?

Yes. Follow-up consultations are available once a week, so your doctor can see how you are responding and adjust your treatment.

What should I prepare before an online consultation?

Keep your previous prescriptions, recent reports and a list of the medicines you take ready. Find a quiet spot with a stable internet connection, and note when each symptom began.

When should I go to a hospital instead of consulting online?

Go to a hospital or call 112 straight away for chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, sudden weakness on one side of the body, severe bleeding, a seizure or high fever with confusion or a stiff neck. Online consultations are not for emergencies.

How do I book an appointment with a general physician?

Message us on WhatsApp, email contact@roohmindcare.in or write to us on Instagram with your concern. We confirm a time and send you the details for your online consultation.
